The Pittsburgh Elite Soccer Club has grown from the players and coaches who have been part of Hotspurs West for more than 25-years. The coaches have been providing quality training, developing players and sending numerous players to the collegiate level. Most recently, '23 Rowan Phillips, King University, '22 Mackenzie Johnson, Cal U, '22 Marleigh Coakley, CAL U, '22 Madison Felton, Edinboro University, '21 graduating senior Sydney Stahl, Lockhaven and '21 Hanna Wagner, Clarion University to continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level.Bill Pfeifer is our longstanding director of coaching. Bill has been coaching soccer for more than 25-years and he knows something about winning. Bill is the all-time wins leader among girls soccer coaches in Pennsylvania with more than 435 career wins. More than winning, Bill knows how to motivate, develop and make soccer fun for his players. Bill's training sessions force players to increase their speed-of-play, improve awareness as well as field vision. These skills greatly assist our teams in meeting our Club mission of player development and possession based team soccer. Brooke Mangis is former head coach at Seton LeSalle High School for 10-years. Brooke also coached under Bill at Moon High School as an assistant coach for another 5-years. Brooke has trained and played soccer her entire career in Western PA. She is a former Division 1 player at Duquesne University. Brooke brings her knowledge and skills to our players for improved awareness and soccer knowledge. Brooke has been coaching in the club for the past 10-years. Brooke has spent the last year reviewing the VEO videos on every match and offering the players feedback in order to improve their game while living out of state.
Marcus Pollidore has more than 25 years of soccer coaching experience, which includes college, high school and club soccer. He is very active in youth soccer in the Pittsburgh Area at the Club level. Pollidore has also coached the Carlow University women's and men's soccer team for over 10 seasons. Marcus led the Carlow to a Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) regular-season championship and tournament championship in 2012. He was named the 2012 KIAC Coach of the Year. Under Pollidore, the women's team made two appearances in the USCAA National Women's Soccer Tournament and experienced three of the best seasons in program history, from 2012-2014. Marcus hold's a Bachelor's Degree from Long Island University-Brooklyn.
Allee Oskin has been playing soccer her entire life. She holds a National D License and is currently completing her National C license. Allee was a multi year starter at Westminster College. She has played semi pro soccer and has been a certified referee. She has also worked in various management positions at Open Field International, a non-profit working with youth. Allee has been coaching cup, travel and middle school and high school soccer for nearly 10-years. Allee currently coaches for Sewickley Academy Middle School and Sewickley Academy High School.
